Belfast City Marathon 2027

After an incredible 2026, Team Little Heroes is back for the Belfast City Marathon 2027 — and we’d love you to join us! 💚

Whether you’re taking on the full 26.2 miles or getting a team together for the relay, there are two ways to run and fundraise for Little Heroes in 2027.

I need a charity place

We have a limited number of Little Heroes charity places available for the Full Marathon and Team Relay.

If you’d like one of our charity places, register your interest and tell us a little about why you’d like to run and fundraise for Little Heroes.

If you’re offered a place, we’ll ask you to commit to raising a minimum of:

Full Marathon – £500 per runner
Team Relay – £750 per team (£150 per team member)

Registering your interest does not guarantee a charity place. We’ll review registrations and be in touch with successful runners with details of how to secure their place.

I already have my own place

Already registered for the Belfast City Marathon or Team Relay? Brilliant — you don’t need to apply for one of our charity places to join Team Little Heroes.

You can start fundraising for us straight away.

Simply create your fundraising page through Eventmaster and select Little Heroes NI from the charity dropdown list. We’d also love you to tick “I agree to be contacted by my chosen charity” so that we can get in touch, welcome you to the team and support you with your fundraising.

Whichever way you join us, you’ll be part of Team Little Heroes, raising vital funds to support sick children and their families at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.

What you’ll get from Team Little Heroes

Whether you’re running the full marathon or taking on a relay leg, we’ll be with you from sign-up to finish line.

  • Fundraising support: We’ll give you plenty of ideas, tips and resources to help you reach – and hopefully smash – your fundraising target.
  • Your Team Little Heroes kit: We’ll make sure you have your Little Heroes running top ready for race day.

  • A team behind you: We’ll keep in touch throughout your marathon journey, share important updates and help you along the way.
  • Race day support: Look out for Team Little Heroes along the route – we’ll be there making plenty of noise and cheering you towards that finish line! 💚
