Everest Base Camp Challenge
Take on an extraordinary 18‑day trek to Everest Base Camp, one of the world’s most iconic and inspiring mountain challenges. Starting in Kathmandu, you’ll fly into the Himalayan region of Nepal and then trek alongside Sherpa villages, cross glacial rivers, and climb through steep valleys and high-altitude paths
Across the trek, you’ll reach Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) and have the chance to summit Kala Patthar (5,545 m) – one of the best viewpoints for sunrise views of Everest itself.
You’ll trek at a steady, measured pace, allowing proper acclimatisation, with experienced guides, porters, and a full support team looking after you throughout.
Accommodation is in shared lodges or mountain teahouses, and you’ll be eating hearty, local food. Safety is a top priority: the expedition includes first-aid-qualified staff, a risk-management plan, and local support throughout the journey.
This is more than just a trek – it’s a chance to push your limits, experience a life-changing adventure, and make a real difference.
Every step you take will help support the courageous little heroes at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, providing vital care and comfort to children and families across Northern Ireland.
