Great Wall of China Discovery

Take on a bold adventure with Team Little Heroes on the Great Wall Discovery, a demanding 5‑day trek across some of the most rugged and remote stretches of the Great Wall of China. Over those days, you’ll walk for 4–7 hours each day, covering roughly 50 km — all while navigating thousands of uneven, ancient steps and pushing your endurance both physically and mentally.

This is no ordinary walk – you’ll explore rugged, un‑restored stretches of the Wall, scramble up crumbling stairs, navigate overgrown paths, and tackle exposed ridgelines with incredible views at every turn.

Weather can be unpredictable, so you’ll embrace sun, wind, or even rain as part of the adventure. Each day, you’ll pause at scenic watchtowers to catch your breath and soak in the scenery before heading to your cosy, rustic lodgings for a well-earned rest.

While the trek pushes your stamina and balance, it also rewards you with history and culture at every step. You’ll wander through Ming‑dynasty watchtowers, take in sweeping mountain vistas, and share laughter, stories, and triumphs with your fellow adventurers. Walking poles are a big help on the steep ascents and descents, and good fitness will make the experience even more enjoyable – but the sense of achievement is worth every step.

This isn’t just a personal challenge – it’s a journey with purpose. Every step you take helps raise vital funds for the children supported by Little Heroes, making this an adventure that changes lives – theirs and yours.
